Eaton 60th anniversary
David and Phyllis Eaton of Renfrew celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner while attending the wedding of their eldest granddaughter, Aimee, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Eaton married the former Phyllis Holland on Sept. 29, 1956, at The Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Holmbury St. Mary, Surrey, England.
They have four children, Sara Young of Albany, N.Y., Matthew Eaton of Chippewa, Jeremy Eaton of Seattle and Sophie Eaton of Corte Madera, Calif.
They also have four grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Eaton retired from Dollinger Corporation as its marketing manager. He was the product line manager for MSA Scotland and the senior application engineer for MSA Air Filter Division from 1966 to 1989 in Callery.
He is a member of St. Helen, Church of England, in Northwich, Cheshire, England.
Mrs. Eaton is a homemaker. Formerly, she was a display artist with England's Central Electricity Generating Board.
She is a member of The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Church of England.
