4:58 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Dana L. Cuffman, 20, of Butler and a van driven by Dolores B. Pizor, 73, of Butler collided on East Brady Street near Cecelia Street. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.1 a.m. Sunday — Desmond R. Best, 26, of Butler was charged with two counts simple assault after he allegedly struck and injured two women at the Island Bar on South Washington Street. He is in Butler County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.4:08 p.m. Saturday — A truck driven by Michael D. Hoffman, 31, of Butler crashed into a utility pole on Morton Avenue near Fairview Avenue. Hoffman was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.4:25 a.m. Saturday — Someone stole a truck belonging to James Barnett of Chicora in the area of South Washington Street and West Wayne Street between 8 p.m. Friday and 2:15 a.m. Saturday. The truck is a maroon 2004 Dodge Dakota, 4-door extended cab, Pennsylvania license plates YPM5740. Anyone with information should call police at 724-287-7743.10:36 a.m. Friday — Amie A. Alwine, 22, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to leave Kmart with $514 worth of merchandise without paying.5:37 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Evelyn Miller, 61, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Donald L. Young, 60, of Federal Way, Wash., collided on New Castle Road near Hansen Avenue. Young's passengers, Marjorie Young, 61, of Federal Way and Ethel Young, 78, of Butler, and Miller suffered minor injuries. Everyone was wearing seat belts.

11:33 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Pamela S. Cooper, 40, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Troy R. Adamosky, 32, of Butler collided on Benbrook Road near Lions Road in Center Township. Cooper's passenger, Chelsea Cooper, 18, suffered minor injuries. Pamela Cooper was cited for speeding.10:54 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Ramona M. Lux, 39, of Franklin crashed on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Lux was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.5:20 p.m. Saturday — A juvenile boy was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched a woman in the face during an argument at a Hoon Road residence in Oakland Township.2 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Dan Hilliard, 18, of Butler crashed into a culvert at the intersection of Country Lane Road and Route 528 in Prospect. Hilliard and his 17-year-old passenger fled. Both were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Hilliard was cited for a stop sign violation and failing to report a crash to police.

1:05 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Dennis A. Disque of Oil City crashed on Route 965 near Route 173 in Worth Township. Disque was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for driving at unsafe speed.1:30 a.m. Thursday — Derrick Leroy Feaser, 27, of York Haven and Thomas Alan Lang, 30, of Belle Vernon were assaulted in the Landmark Hotel on Old Ash Road in Springfield township by unknown people. Police are investigating.

2:15 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Jennifer Rathon, 24, of Butler and a car driven by Nicole Carter, 21, of Pittsburgh collided on a Route 28 exit ramp in Aspinwall Borough, Allegheny County. Both women were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

4 p.m. Saturday — A van driven by Liborio H. Hansford, 52, of Knox crashed and rolled onto its roof on Interstate 80 in Allegheny Township. Neither Hansford nor his passenger, Richard D. Burk, 73, of Clintonville, were injured. Both men were wearing seat belts.3:40 p.m. Saturday — A tractor-trailer driven by Maria Lozoya, 48, of Victorville, Calif., crashed and rolled onto its side on Interstate 80 in Richland Township. Lozoya and her passenger, Wilfrido Gomez, 47, also of Victorville suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.10:50 p.m. Friday — Someone stole prescription medication belonging to Cynthia L. Weber, 35, of Rimersburg from her Morris Lane residence in Madison Township. Police are investigating.Nov. 30 — Someone stole a 9-inch rear end for a Ford vehicle, two aluminum rims and two Micky Thompson wide slick drag-racing tires belonging to Gary McKinney of St. Petersburg from a VanZandt Lane property in Richland Township between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30. Any one with information should call police at 814-226-1710.

4:37 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Dennis Edinger, 57, of Volant and a car driven by Kristen Davis, 41, of New Castle collided on Route 108 near Plain Grove Road in Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County. Edinger suffered a minor injury. Both drivers and Edinger's passenger were wearing seat belts.
