Winfield bridge work cuts traffic to one lane
A bridge replacement project on Winfield Road in Winfield Township will reduce traffic on the road to one lane, state transportation officials said Monday.
Flagger-controlled, single-lane restrictions on Winfield Road between Clearfield and Cornplanter roads will begin this week and continue until temporary traffic signals are installed next week.
The road will be reduced to a single lane until the bridge over Rough Run is replaced and other miscellaneous construction is completed as part of a $2.5 million project.
The work is being done by Brayman Construction Corp. and is expected to be complete in November.
