11:58 a.m. Thursday - A tractor trailer driven by Gene Evanitz, 41, of Slippery Rock struck a walk signal at the intersection of West Brady and North Main streets while making a turn onto Main. Evanitz wasn't injured. The walk signal was slightly bent and its housing was cracked.7:40 p.m. Friday - Thaisa Summers, 40, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and other related offenses after police received a call that an intoxicated woman was trying to drive away in Memorial Park.4:40 p.m. Friday - Gary Austin, 36, of Butler was taken into custody on Center Avenue for a bench warrant.
1:32 p.m. Friday - A vehicle driven by Peter Wagler, 57, of Cochranton, a vehicle driven by Ronald Mays, 54, of Harrisville and another vehicle driven by Robin Schmitt, 54, of Portersville were involved in a three-car accident on Route 68 near Ash Lane in Forward Township. Wagler's vehicle struck the rear of Mays' vehicle, which hit the rear of Schmitt's. Mays and Schmitt were stopped waiting for a vehicle to turn. No one was injured.April 24 - Gardenscape on Sandy Point Road in Eau Claire reported the theft of $4,018 from its office sometime between April 22 and 24. Anyone with information relating to the theft should call state police at 724-284-8100.
3:20 p.m. Saturday, April 30 - Jack Berry Allston, 54, of Tionesta was charged with making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, harassment and other related offenses in connection with an incident at the Church of the Epiphany on Liberty Street in Pine Township during a recital rehearsal. Allston is accused of interrupting the rehearsal by yelling at a 59-year-old woman.
5:04 p.m. Friday - A bicycle ridden by a boy collided with a vehicle driven by Earl Trimble of Ellwood City on Rose Point Harlansburg Road in Scott Township, Lawrence County.
