March 30 — A Cabot man was arrested after he allegedly sent threatening text messages to another person between March 23 and 30.

The defendant, 30-year-old Ronald F. Boehler Jr., in the messages “threatened to kill the victim.”

He was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, stalking and harassment, and later placed in the Venango County Jail on $10,000 bail.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Kittanning[/naviga:h3]

1:21 p.m. March 26 — Sport utility vehicles driven by Robert D. Smith, 20, of Kittanning and Donna Stubrick, 71, both of Kittanning collided on Freeport Road and Meadow Lane in North Buffalo Township. Police said Smith was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.

2:34 a.m. Saturday — A 21-year-old Chicora man was arrested under suspicion of DUI after police say he hit a building with his car and fled the scene.

The man allegedly hit the State Farm Insurance building on North Main Street in Chicora. His vehicle was damaged from the accident and he was found by police nearby on Poplar Road in Fairview Township. Charges were pending lab results.
