11:09 a.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by James Sommers, 46, of Pittsburgh and a vehicle driven by Melissa Frazer, 43, of Butler collided in the Diamond Street parking lot.1:37 p.m. Friday — A truck driven by Ronald Orians, 58, of Oregon struck utility pole wires as it turned from the westbound lane of West Penn Street onto North Sixth Avenue.2:30 p.m. Sunday — John Hutchinson of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck Hutchinson's parked vehicle on Federal Street outside of his residence between 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The passenger side of the parked vehicle was damaged.Oct. 5 — Robert and Kathleen Walker of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which their vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked on East Quarry Street between 8:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.3 p.m. Oct. 17 — A truck driven by Matthew Lesnik, 27, of Butler struck a parking meter on West Cunningham Street. Minor damage occurred to the driver's side of the vehicle and to the meter.3:20 p.m. Friday — Raymound Miller of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck his vehicle while it was parked in Pullman Square.10:28 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Kenneth McGinnis, 19, of Kittanning struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Lauren Lamison, 19, of Kittanning on Kittanning Street. Lamison's vehicle was stopped in traffic just west of East Jefferson Street.4:59 p.m. Saturday — Lori Vardy of Cranberry Township reported a hit-and-run accident in which her parked vehicle was struck by an unknown driver at the intersection of State Street and Wagner Avenue. A witness told police the driver was operating a maroon full-size truck with silver trim and a diamond-plated toolbox in the bed.12:39 p.m. Sunday — Gene DeMarco, 61, reported finding a brown Destination suitcase in front of his garage at 425 N. Bluff St. The suitcase, which is being kept in the city police station, was empty.

3 p.m. Wednesday — An unknown suspect took a wallet owned by a 16-year-old boy at Slippery Rock High School. His wallet was in his jeans, which he had taken off for football practice. His pants also were stolen.9 a.m. Oct. 15 — David Maitland of Grove City reported someone broke into his house in Worth Township and took 15 paintball guns.8:20 a.m. Oct. 11 — Someone broke into Red O'Donnell's Self Storage on Route 8 in Center Township and took some unidentified items.2:50 p.m. Sunday — A ladder on the side of a truck driven by Gary Martin, 57, of New Brighton fell onto the windshield of an SUV driven by Katina Soltis, 34, of New Wilmington. The drivers and their passengers, who all were wearing seat belts, were not injured. The accident occurred on Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township.Sunday — Charles Fields, 43, of Evans City reported the theft of a cordless drill, drill bits, Oakley sunglasses and a credit card from his Blackberry Lane residence. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.

10:33 p.m. Friday — A 17-year-old male driver from Rimersburg lost control of a car on Sawmill Hill Road in Toby Township, which traveled up a hill and rolled over. He and a 17-year-old boy from East Brady were not injured. They were wearing seat belts.A 17-year-old male passenger, who had been in the front seat and was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown through the passenger window and landed in a ditch. He was taken by ambulance to Clarion Hospital and then taken by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.Wednesday — A black, 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck was reported stolen between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from Smith's Auto Sales and Repair in Rimersburg, Clarion County. Larry Smith of Rimersburg owns the truck valued at $4,995.

10:30 a.m. Sunday — James Delaney of Petrolia reported someone drove through his front lawn and did $500 damage.11:30 p.m. Saturday — Scott David Patterson, 36, of Worthington was arrested for allegedly assaulting LeAnn Jean Hooks, 41, also of Worthington at a home on Bridge Road, West Franklin Township.7:30 p.m. Saturday — Jaissa Gerity, 23, of Bethel Park was not injured when she lost control of her car on state Route 28/66 and hit a bridge.6 p.m. Saturday — An unidentified 16-year-old girl was not injured when she lost control of her car on Route 68 near Bratkovich Road in Bradys Bend. The car hit an embankment and tree. She was wearing a seat belt.2 p.m. Saturday — An unidentified 16-year-old boy was not injured when his lost control of his car on a wet state Route 4007 near Jones Road, sliding into a berm and sheering off a telephone pole. The force of the accident cut the Chevy Cavalier into two pieces. The teen, who was wearing a seat belt, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.7 a.m. Saturday — Donna Criswell, 41, of Freeport, struck and killed a deer in the right lane of Route 28 northbound in Harrison Township, damaging her 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. Criswell and her passenger, a 12-year-old girl, were wearing seat belts and were not hurt in the accident.

4 p.m. Oct. 15 — Several leather coats valued at $800 were stolen from the Wilson Leather store at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township. Police said a black female entered the storeroom, took the coats from a rack, and left through the back of the store setting off the alarm. Two black males later came and removed the stolen coats from a Dumpster and fled.Noon Monday — A truck driven by Linda Gottus-Daum, 46, of Harrisville was traveling on Airport Road in Liberty Township when it left the road along a sharp curve and struck a tree. The driver was cited for not driving a vehicle at a safe speed.

Thursday — A purple, 26-inch girls Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen from 608 Nelson St. The bike was last seen Oct. 16.

Monday — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Pigtail Alley behind the BP station, and New Castle Street. The two cars were driven by Scott Gordon of Harrisville and Fred Meier of Slippery Rock. No one was injured.

Wednesday — A 650-watt generator was stolen from the bed of a truck parked in a lot at a job site on North Road.
