A Butler man was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of child pornography.

Anthony Osche, 23, was arrested by agents from the state attorney general’s Child Predator Section with the assistance of the Butler County Sheriff.

Agents found nearly 800 child pornographic videos on Osche’s computer, according to a news release from the attorney general.

Osche already is a registered sex offender stemming from a 2009 conviction of possessing child pornography.

Osche is charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography, five counts of distribution, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

Osche was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Tim Shaffer and sent to Butler County Prison on $200,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for Monday.

Osche is one of 10 men the attorney general’s office arrested this past week for pornography, following weeks of online investigations.
