11:37 p.m. May 19 — Ronald A. Moculski, 24, of Butler was charged with reckless driving, abandoning a vehicle on private property, and leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly crashed a van into a fence at the McDonald's restaurant, 500 Greater Butler Mart.Police said the van that Moculski was driving became stuck on top of a concrete divider. Police said he left the scene without notifying McDonald's or police of his identity.5:59 p.m. Thursday — Michael A. Pintell, 29, of Butler was cited for retail theft after he allegedly stole $78 worth of merchandise from Walmart at Butler Commons. Police allege he went through the self-checkout line without paying for the items.
7 a.m. Thursday — Leonard Haney, 80, of Saxonburg reported someone stole $100 in cash and a digital camera from his vehicle while it was parked at a property along McKay Road in Clinton Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — James Merolla, 25, of Slippery Rock reported someone stole a Kel Tech handgun from his vehicle. The value of the gun is $350.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — Someone stole a 20 horsepower Tohatsu short shaft boat motor from Bob Warren Boat Sales at 139 Oneida Valley Road in Summit Township.Police said the value of the motor was about $2,000.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.8:51 p.m. Tuesday — Michael R. Johnson, 21, of Butler was cited for harassment and criminal mischief following a domestic dispute with an 18-year-old woman at a home on Beacon Lane in Center Township.Sunday — Someone used orange paint to spray graffiti on two garage doors at a home on Holyoke Road in Center Township. The vandalism happened between 11 p.m. May 24 and 1:35 p.m. May 25.
