BC3 offers classes in summer sessions
For those worried about the “summer slide” or “summer brain drain,” Butler County Community College is offering more than 180 classes this summer in its campuses at Armstrong, Butler, Jefferson, Lawrence and Mercer counties, or in online or hybrid formats.
Tuition and fees for face-to-face courses this summer at BC3 cost $170 per credit for Butler County residents and $270 per credit for residents of other Pennsylvania counties.
Tuition and fees for online or hybrid courses at BC3 this summer cost $195 per credit for Butler County residents and $295 per credit for others.
Last summer, the school had more than 330 summer guest students.
Session 1, Session 2 and Fast Track 1 begin May 17. Session 3 starts June 14 and Fast Track 2 begins June 28. Session 1 lasts four weeks, Session 2 is 12 weeks, and Session 3 is eight weeks. Fast Tracks last five weeks and are held fully online.
