Mustello hosts forum about ballot questions

State Rep. Marci Mustello, R-11th, is inviting business owners and residents to a forum she is hosting to discuss ballot questions that will appear on the May 18 primary ballot.

The forum is being held from 10 to 11 a.m. April 17 at the 11th Frame Bar and Grille at 540 Fairground Hill Road in Butler Township.

Guest speakers will include Jordan Grady, executive director of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce; Emily Greene, community engagement director of Americans for Prosperity; and Kevin Kane, senior government affairs specialist for the Commonwealth Foundation.

“On May 18, voters in Pennsylvania will have the opportunity to make their voices heard,” Mustello said. “On the primary ballot, two ballot questions are designed to protect our communities from executive overreach and power-hungry politicians in Harrisburg.”

She said the speakers will discuss the governor’s emergency powers.

“I voted in favor of putting these amendments on the ballot, so you could make your voice heard because I believe our employers, community leaders and working families deserve a say in how to best protect their lives and livelihoods,” Mustello said.
