3:29 p.m. Wednesday — Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of New Castle Road and North Duffy Road. Police said Tracy E. Tucci, 53, of Butler, was driving west on New Castle Road when her vehicle was hit by a vehicle driven by Donna M. Neff, 71, of Butler, which was during left onto the road from North Duffy Road. Police said Tucci suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact the department at 724-285-9600.
Wednesday — Police said Nicholas Woyton, 38, of Ford City, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole $199.99 in merchandise from Target. Police said Woyton has been arraigned and is in Butler County Prison on $10,000 cash bond.
[naviga:h3]Grove City Police[/naviga:h3]
10:05 a.m. Thursday — Police said a search of Grove City Middle School was initiated after a note was found in a restroom making reference to blowing up the building. Police said the school was evacuated and the search was complete by 11:25 a.m. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
2:10 p.m. Wednesday — Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident on East Pine Street near Grace Street. Police said someone hit a speed limit sign and fled the scene. Police said the vehicle may have moderate damage to its passenger side. Anyone with information should contact the department at 724-458-7925.
Tuesday — Police picked up Angelina C. Cuzzocrea, 25, no address given, at Crawford County Jail on a warrant charging her with criminal trespass. The charge stems from an incident on the 400 block of McConnell Street, where she is accused of unlawfully entering a home on Oct. 14.
5 a.m. Monday — Police said Kyle J. Weber, 29, of Grove City, was arrested for DUI, driving without headlights, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license and having an obscured plate after a traffic stop on Ridgeway Avenue.
9:38 a.m. Saturday — Police said Brandi Jackson, 39, of Mercer, was driving east on East Main Street when she ran a red light and hit a vehicle driven by William Mills, 57, of Grove City. Police said no one was injured and Jackson was cited for a red light violation.
6:45 a.m. Nov. 9 — Police arrested Fletcher C. Cash, 50, of Grove City after responding to a home on the 300 block of West Main Street for a domestic incident. Police said Cash was charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly threatening and grabbing a woman several times.
