Ava Soilis added 15 points and Morgan Croney 13 for Freeport. The Yellowjackets trailed by four at halftime before outscoring Derry 18-4 in the third quarter to assume control of the contest.

Parker Worsley and Brody Simko scored goals for Butler in a 10-2 loss to top-ranked Thomas Jefferson Monday night.

Owen Denny, Simko, Andrew Roskovski and Nathan Holland had assists for the Golden Tornado, who host Franklin Regional next Monday at the Frozen Pond.

Butler 7, Mars 3 — Simko had a goal and two assists and Roskovski scored his first varsity goal in this recent game. Worsley scored two goals with Brayden Povlick, Colton Gregory and Denny netting one each.

Aaron Shoup had a pair of assists and EJ Delaney stopped 28 shots in goal.
