Lambing sentenced in burglary case

A Butler man accused of homicide in the death of a 4-year-old child pleaded no contest and was sentenced in an unrelated burglary case in Butler County Court on Tuesday.

Keith Jordan Lambing, 20, entered the no contest plea to a felony count of criminal trespass and was immediately sentenced to three to six months in Butler County Prison, with credit for time served, by county Judge Timothy McCune.

Lambing was also ordered to pay restitution, and McCune gave prosecutors 10 days to file an amended restitution order.

Lambing was initially charged with felony burglary, criminal trespass, conspiracy to criminal trespass, misdemeanor terroristic threats and summary harassment after an incident on March 7.

Lambing was arrested in that incident alongside Devon B. Thompson, 20, after they allegedly forced their way into a man's apartment on the 200 block of Walker Avenue and threatened him, according to Butler police.
