The Snyders in 1962

Donald “Duke” and Rita Snyder of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with famiy and friends at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora and with a 10-day trip to the Holy Land.

Snyder married the former Rita Kriley on June 16, 1962, in Herman.

They have four children, Donna Haid and Brenda Still of Chicora, Dan Snyder of Butler and Dennis Snyder of Tennessee.

They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Snyder retired from Armco in 1997 and is a part-time driver for Campbell’s Bus Company.

Mrs. Snyder worked at Mellon Bank in Chicora.

The Snyders are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
