County youth advance in tourney
Butler County will be well represented in the regional Pepsi Scholarship Tournament following completion of the district qualifier at Colonial Lanes in New Castle recently.

The largest five-person team tournament in the eastern United States, the St. Clair Lanes team tournament in St. Clairsville, Ohio, is under way. The tournament, in its 43rd year, paid out $134,275 in total prize money last year.Team and individual prizes are awarded, with a top prize of $10,000 going to the top handicap team.The tournament runs now through July 31.
