Wednesday — Andrea N. Ertzberger, 45, of Fenelton was charged with taking a wallet that was left behind by its owner around 5:50 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Butler Commons' Walmart. The wallet and its contents are valued at $340.50.Ertzberger is charged with a first-degree misdemeanor count of theft of lost or mislaid property.

7:03 p.m. Saturday — One person was injured when two cars crashed at the entrance to Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland light display at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Route 422 in Franklin Township. The wreck occurred when a car driven by Paul C. Malinak, 61, of Freedom, Beaver County, struck the other car.Frances M. McCullough, 62, of Freedom, a passenger in Malinak's car, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Neither Malinak nor the other driver, Harold D. Reed, 68, of Butler was injured.Police cited Malinak for a stop sign violation.4:47 p.m. Saturday — An unknown driver struck a car parked in the Moniteau High School parking lot on Route 308 in Cherry Township, and did not stop. The car sustained minor damage.6:13 p.m. Dec. 1 — A car driven by Kayla N. Magnus, 28, of Butler drifted off Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township, striking and damaging a traffic sign. She was not injured, but her car had to be towed. Police cited her for disregarding traffic lanes.9 a.m. Dec. 1 — A pickup truck driven by James R. Mack, 33, of West Sunbury struck a guardrail after he drove off of Route 308 just south of Byers Road in Center Township while attempting to avoid another pickup. The other driver, Michael D. Cubbage, 37, of Boyers, lost control of his southbound pickup.No one was injured. Police cited Cubbage for driving too fast for conditions.5:50 p.m. Nov. 29 — A Westmoreland County woman was not injured when the car she was driving struck a tree along Star Grille Road in Winfield Township. Melissa F. Mangel, 43, of Lower Burrell re-entered the road, but then traveled off it again, hitting a stump.Mangel is charged with driving too fast for conditions and disregarding traffic lanes.

7:37 p.m. Tuesday — Kayleann J. Priester, 19, of Grove City lost control of her sport utility vehicle and struck a utility pole along Scrubgrass Road in Findley Township. The SUV ended on its driver's side. Neither Priester nor her passenger, Lukas R. McLallen, 24, of Harrisville, was injured.Police cited Priester for disregarding traffic lanes and driving a vehicle without valid inspection.12:16 p.m. Sunday — A 17-year-old Grove City girl was injured when she lost control of her car and struck a tree along Route 208 in Pine Township. Police did not release the name of the girl, who suffered minor injuries. Her car was towed. Police said they cited her for driving too fast for conditions.
