Low-flying craft? No reason to worry

Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport officials were notified by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources that helicopters will spray for gypsy moths from April 25 through June 7 in various portions of Pennsylvania, including Butler County.

The DCNR’s Bureau of Forestry is conducting the low-level aerial spray program, which will be carried out during all daylight hours within those dates.
