The Butler County Community College softball team routed host Westmoreland County Community College in a doubleheader on Wednesday.

In an 11-2 win in the first game, Nikki Houk hit a home run and scored three times for the Pioneers. Ashley Coon singled three times and drove in a run, Bailey Campbell singled, doubled and drove in two and Lydia Roth had two hits.

In the second game, a 13-2 victory, Alyssa Dailey had two hits, two runs scored and two batted in. Sydney Natili singled twice, doubled and scored three times. Jesse Yenick added a base hit and three RBI.

Jessi Reed was the winning pitcher in both games, combining for five strikeouts and five walks. She also tallied six hits on offense.

The Pioneers (4-0) host Anne Arundel (Md.) Sunday at Laura Doerr Park.
