Company to brings 350 jobs to Cranberry
CRANBERRY TWP — A Pittsburgh-based logistics company plans to bring about 350 jobs to the township.
By September, Genco, a subsidiary of FedEx, will move its headquarters to 700 Cranberry Woods Drive in the Cranberry Woods office park.
The company will not be immediately hiring, but the new building leaves room for growth, communications manager Wendi Nolan said.
The Cranberry Woods building was previously occupied by Verizon, which closed its call center there in May 2014 when it transferred or laid off 600 customer service employees.
Genco provides services for businesses such as processing returned items, warehousing and distribution, contract packaging and product refurbishment and liquidation.
