3:56 p.m. Monday — Michael G. Eichenauer, 31, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting $160 worth of merchandise from the Kmart store at Pullman Square. Eichenauer was cited for retail theft and also advised that he was not allowed back at the store, according to a police report.11:42 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Connie E. Huselton, 59, of North Washington struck a car on Hollywood Drive while pulling into the Butler Transit Authority parking lot. The car, driven by David L. Nading, 55, of Center Township, sustained heavy damage.Butler Twp Police7:03 p.m. Monday — Susan A. Miller, 53, of Renfrew was arrested for drugged driving after a suspected hit-and-run crash on New Castle Road. In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Miller is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, hit-and-run and careless driving.Monday — Police charged Jessica Holley, 27, of Butler in connection with three separate shoplifting cases in October at the Kohl's store in the Butler Crossing shopping plaza.Holley, with the help of Deborah Krivak, 53, of Butler, is accused of taking a Polaroid Tablet on Oct. 19. Two days later, she and an unidentified man allegedly stole two more Polaroid Tablets. Police said Holley took one more Polaroid Tablet on Oct. 26.Police said they eventually solved the thefts with the help of store surveillance video.Holley is charged with four counts each of retail theft and receiving stolen property and two counts each of conspiracy to commit retail theft and conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property.Krivak is charged with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property.Monday — Police charged William G. Blust III, 18, of Butler with driving under the influence of a controlled substance stemming from a traffic stop about 7 p.m. Nov. 20 on Evans Road in the township's Bon Aire section.Blust also is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, failing to keep right and driving on the left side of the road.6:21 p.m. Saturday — Two people suffered minor injuries when vehicles driven by Richard Rider, 72, and Brian Blake, 42, both of Butler, collided on Saxonburg Road at the Sheetz store. South Butler volunteer firefighters assisted police at the scene.2:25 p.m. Friday — Kimberly D. Nicholson, 50, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., was arrested after she allegedly shoplifted more than $445 in merchandise from the Walmart at Butler Commons. She is accused of taking the items — a computer, boys' bike and an antenna — that were in a shopping cart.Nicholson was arraigned on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.9:44 a.m. Friday — Morgan Nagy, 20, of Karns City lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the center concrete barrier on Route 422 just before the East Jefferson Street exit.9:09 a.m. Thursday — Three people were hurt when a car driven by Roberta Carlson, 55, of Butler rear-ended another car on Route 356 at Butler Commons. Carlson and the other driver, David Turner, 66, of Slippery Rock, and his passenger, Jacob Turner, 34, of Butler, all suffered minor injuries. Police cited Carlson for driving at an unsafe speed.Thursday — Alex T. Nagy, 22, of Butler was arrested after an officer spotted him staggering along Route 8 south at Litman Road. Police cited Nagy for public drunkenness.8:02 p.m. Wednesday — John D. Dunmyre Jr., 26, of Butler was arrested after he activated a fire alarm system at 160 Old Plank Road, causing the South Butler Volunteer Fire Department to responded to the false alarm. Dunmyre is charged with making a false alarm to a public safety agency, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.

Monday — Police reported that an unknown vandal drove across the lawn at the Grove City Middle School sometime over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. A damage estimate was not immediately available.

10:42 a.m. Monday — A full-size van driven by Donald W. Henry, 35, of Greensburg, struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.5:23 a.m. Monday — Karolyn Jo Lominski, 52, of Hilliards was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car struck two other vehicles on Branchton Road near Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township.Nov. 22 — Police obtained a felony arrest warrant for an Armstrong County woman accused of failing to return a car she rented at a Center Township business earlier this summer.The suspect, 27-year-old Heather Lynn Colwell of Kittanning, signed an agreement with Avis/Budget Rental at the Clearview Mall to rent the car for one month — from Aug. 27 to Sept. 27, according to court documents.The company notified police Nov. 11 following an internal audit that revealed the vehicle was never returned. Colwell is charged with a felony count of theft of leased property.The missing car, valued at $14,600, is a silver, 2012 Toyota Corolla. The four-door car carried Maine license plate 2754TC.Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Colwell or the Corolla is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

2:55 p.m. Friday — Karen Johnson, 62, of Zelienople lost control of her car and crashed into the side of a building on Route 322 in Paint Township. The accident happened as she attempted to pull into a parking space at the Country Fair convenience store parking lot.According to a police report, Johnson mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake pedal, causing the car to lurch. The vehicle jumped the curb and struck the side of the building with its front bumper and grill area. The accident damaged a plate glass window and a section of a brick wall.Police said Johnson was not hurt and she was not charged in the accident.
