Nancy Hancheck
BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE
In loving memory of the best mom ever, Nancy Hancheck, whose birthday was September 23.
Here’s the second year without a birthday kiss and hug.
Can this really be, as I give myself a tug.
It seems so long ago since I’ve seen you,
And we’d have a mother daughter talk.
So many times I’ve wanted to call you,
A thousand times I’ve cried.
The many places I go, your memory lingers so,
You’re out in the fields and the air that I breathe.
Your in town when I’m there, even at my back door when I stare.
You know if love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
Here’s a kiss and an air hug that’s blowing up to Heaven’s gates for you.
So they say in Heaven there aint no beer!
So I’m going to listen to some old time country music and have one for you here.
Have I told you, I love you today!
Sadly missed but
never forgotten,
Love always,
Your Daughter and Family
