Adams Twp. PoliceMonday — Franklin O. Maxwell, Jr., 56, of Valencia was charged with DUI from a traffic stop Feb. 27.Monday — Brian K. Martin, 35, of Masontown, Pa. was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of between 0.10 and 0.16 percent from a traffic stop Sept. 6, 2015. He was also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or greater while license suspended, both summary offenses.Tuesday — William L. Odell, 26, of Beaver Falls was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia from an alleged incident April 10.

Butler Police6:21 a.m. Thursday — Kevin M. Harrison, 29, of Bairdford, Allegheny County, was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a former girlfriend during a domestic dispute at her home in the 400 block of Zeigler Avenue.The defendant is accused of grabbing Krystal Otto by the neck and punching her in back of the head. She suffered unknown injuries.Harrison was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.1:35 a.m. Saturday — John R. Wroblewski Jr., 48, of Summit Township allegedly left a young child who he was supposed to be watching home alone in the 200 block of American Avenue.But after leaving the 6-year-old without supervision, police said, Wroblewski called 911 to report the mother had left her child alone. He apparently intended the call to be anonymous but authorities used the telephone number to identify him.When questioned by police how he knew the child was alone, according to court documents, he gave different accounts. Officers went to the house and found the child unsupervised but safe.The child’s mother eventually provided police with text messages she got from the defendant that appear to incriminate him, documents said. In at least one of the texts, he threatened to leave the child alone, call police and blame her for it.Wroblewski is charged with child endangerment and false reports to police.

Butler Twp PoliceThursday — Police charged Charmaine E. Ulisky, 59, of Lyndora with illegally trying to buy a gun last fall at the Butler Commons’ Walmart. Police allege Ulisky on Nov. 22 lied on her application to buy the firearm.When her information was entered into the Pennsylvania Instant Check system, an automated system by which gun dealers can determine if someone can legally buy a gun in the state, she was denied the purchase.Ulisky is charged with unlawfully attempting to buy a firearm, a felony, and making a false statement under penalty of law, a misdemeanor.

Cranberry Twp. PoliceWednesday — Ciara R. Neely, 34, of New Brighton was charged with DUI controlled substance after a traffic stop March 26. She was also charged with driving with a suspended license and careless driving, both summary offenses.Thursday — Scott A. Luster, 56, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of greater than 0.16 percent and failure to keep right from a traffic stop April 11.Thursday — Thomas V. Carletti, 49 of McKees Rocks was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop April 4.Thursday — James Peronis, 52, of Aliquippa was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of between 0.08 and .10 percent from a traffic stop Feb. 13. He is also charged with speeding and improper left turn.Thursday — Christopher S. Richards, 21, of Pittsburgh was charged with DUI controlled substance from a traffic stop March 17.

Grove City PoliceMonday — Police charged Barbara Lee Meredith, 65, of New Castle in connection with a fraudulent check investigation March 15 at the Grove City Federal Credit Union. She is charged with bad checks.

Jackson Twp. PoliceMonday — Brittney N. Christie, 24, of Freedom was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of greater than 0.16 percent, second offense, from a traffic stop March 23. She is also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, disregarding traffic lane and driving while driving privilege suspended, all summary offenses.

Zelienople PoliceMonday — Matthew D. Sylvester, 28, of Ellwood City was charged with DUI with a blood alcohol-level of greater than 0.16 percent from a traffic stop April 1 in Harmony.

Butler County DetectivesWednesday — Robert E. Fair, 35, an inmate at the Butler County Prison, was charged with exposing himself to a female prisoner earlier this month.Detectives said the incident happened April 9 while Fair and the 24-year-old victim were in the prison’s medical unit. When staff was leading the woman to the shower area, Fair allegedly exposed his genitals to her from his cell doorway, according to court documents.The defendant gave authorities different stories about what happened but he denied deliberately exposing himself.Fair is charged with indecent exposure.

State Police, Butler4:19 a.m. today — One person was hurt in a one-vehicle wreck that closed one lane on Route 268 in Parker Township. Police are investigating but an accident report was not immediately available.The driver was taken by Petrolia Ambulance to an unknown hospital with injuries not considered serious. A utility pole was damaged in the accident that closed the northbound lane until nearly 6 a.m.Bruin and Parker volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.Wednesday — William K. Dellich III, 27, of Butler was charged with trying to illegally buy a gun Nov. 23 at Logan’s Gun Gallery in Washington Township.Dellich is charged with unlawfully attempting to buy a firearm, a felony. Additionally, he is charged with a misdemeanor charge of making a false statement to authorities.Wednesday — Police charged Zion A. Scriven, 18, of Grove City with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop about 2:15 a.m. April 2 at Franklin and Cemetery roads in Slippery Rock Township.He also was cited for driving a vehicle with unsafe equipment.
