Will Bortmas, who won his first section title at 220 pounds last Saturday during the Section 3-AAA champions at Fox Chapel High School, was awarded with the highest seed of any Butler County wrestler for the Class AAA WPIAL Championships, which start today at Canon-McMillan High School.

Bortmas, who is a senior and 30-5 this season, was seeded second at 220 pounds.

Fellow Butler senior Ryan Hannon (182 pounds) was the only other Golden Tornado wrestler seeded in the top four. Hannon, who is 31-4 this season and finished second at sections, is seeded fourth.

Butler County will have 16 wrestlers compete in the WPIAL championships.
