UPDATED on Dec. 23, 2022: The charges listed against Alexandra L. Christmann in this article were dismissed and expunged at the Butler County Common Pleas Court on Feb. 16, 2022.

SLIPPERY ROCK — The following cases were recently heard by District Judge William O’Donnell.

Robert M. Simko, 61, of Springdale waived to court charges of DUI, failure to keep right and speeding filed Feb. 17 by state police.

Christopher Leroy Anthony, 34, of Chicora waived to court charges of receiving stolen property and possession of firearm prohibited filed by state police.

Thomas Richard Huff IV, 33, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, failure to keep right, speeding, careless driving and operating a vehicle without inspection filed Feb. 11 by state police.

Kenneth Lewis Rall, 20, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, possession of alcohol by minor, failure to keep right and disregarding traffic lane filed June 9, 2017, by state police.

Shane Michael Churma, 21, of Trafford waived to court charges of DUI and a lighting violation filed March 9 by Slippery Rock University police.

Dawn Michelle Copley, 51, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, and driving without inspection filed Oct. 27, 2017, by state police.

Shane Joseph Carr, 27, of Harrisville waived to court charges of altering marks of identification, firearms not to be carried without license, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and failure to use safety belt filed March 23 by state police.

Steven Matthew Beres, 26, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lane, speeding, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to use seat belt filed Jan. 18 by state police.

Rowen Mayes, 19, of Hillsborough, N.J., pleaded guilty to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia filed Feb. 10 and Feb. 17 by Slippery Rock University police.

Ryan Dante Connell, 23, of Monaca waived to court charges of DUI, driving without a license, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, a stop sign violation and careless driving filed Dec. 2, 2017, by state police.

Tyler Jon Williams, 19, of New Castle pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana filed Oct. 14, 2017, by state police.

Samantha Ranee Barge, 29, of Sharpsville waived to court charges of forgery and theft filed June 28, 2016, by Slippery Rock Borough police.

Chad Michael Walker, 26, of Indiana was held for court on a charge of access device fraud filed June 28, 2017, by state police.

Travis Richard Nicholas, 19, of Glenshaw, waived to court charges of DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor and no headlights filed Feb. 6 by Slippery Rock University police.

Nicole E. Stewart, 33, of Hilliards waived to court charges of false insurance claim, criminal attempt and insurance fraud filed Nov. 6, 2017, by the office of the attorney general.

Barry Gene Waldron, 53, of Hilliards, waived to court charges of false insurance claim, criminal attempt and insurance fraud filed Nov. 6, 2017, by the office of attorney general.

Austin Riley LaFever, 23, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed Jan. 27 by state police. LaFever also pleaded guilty to a charge of theft filed Jan. 26 by state police.

Alexis Anne Marchando, 19, of California, Pa., waived to court charges of DUI, driving the wrong way, minor prohibited from operating vehicle with any alcohol in system, and possession of alcohol by a minor filed Feb. 26 by Slippery Rock Borough police.

Larry Dean Evans, 57, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding lane and careless driving filed Dec. 29, 2017 by state police.

SAXONBURG — The following cases were recently heard by District Judge Sue Haggerty.

Patrick Oneill Girwood, 53, of Gibsonia waived to court charges of DUI, two lane violations and careless driving filed Feb. 22 by state police.

James Patrick Stivers, 41, of Sarver pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Saxonburg police and was ordered to pay $518.25 fines and costs.

Ann Marie Sumney, 40, of Butler waived to court charges of accident involving damage, careless driving, disregarding traffic lane, failure to stop at red light and obstructed window filed April 4 by Penn Township police.

Lance Lee Linderman, 28, of Sharpsburg waived to court charges of DUI, display of registration plate and a seat belt violation filed March 28 by state police.

Thomas Michael Douglas, 29, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI and reckless driving filed March 23 by Buffalo Township police.

Dawn Denise Kummer, 47, of Butler waived to court charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia filed Jan. 16 by state police.

Frederick W. Buehler, 59, of Sarver waived to court charges of driving under suspension, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass and unauthorized use/transfer filed March 19 by state police.

Alexandra Christmann, 18, of Slippery Rock was held for court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief filed March 19 by state police.

Robert J. Beatty, 68, of Wexford waived to court charges of DUI filed March 16 by Penn Township police.

Nicholas Owen Welch, 20, of Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia filed March 5 by state police.

Michael Lee Hodges, 35, of Butler was held for court on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, drivers required to be licensed, driving under suspension, speeding and depositing waste on highway filed Jan. 10 by state police.

David James Puchtler, 37, of New Kensington waived to court charges of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and driving under suspension filed March 23 by state police.

Peter Daniel Gearhart, 53, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of DUI, improper screening and driving under DUI suspension filed March 23 by state police.

Edward Connelly, 50, of New Kensington was held for court on a bad check charge filed Feb. 21 by Glassmere Fuel.

BUTLER TWP — The following cases were recently heard by District Judge Kevin O’Donnell.

Steven S. DeFelice, 32, of Lyndora was held for court on charges of criminal conspiracy, theft by deception and criminal trespass filed March 16 by Butler Township police.

George E. Stevenson, 63, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI, stop/stand outside business or resident district, and disorderly conduct filed Jan. 19 by Butler Township police.

Cody J. Rose, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness filed Jan. 28 by Butler Township police. Rose also waived to court charges of DUI, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct (two counts) and speeding filed Jan. 29 by Butler Township police.

Rachel A. Ferderbar, 25, of Butler pleaded guilty to a retail theft charge filed Jan. 16 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $266.25 fine and costs.

Eric N. Elder, 18, of Cabot pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed Feb. 20 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $266.25 fine and costs.

Ryan L. Hewett, 35, incarcerated, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment filed March 30 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of $360.25.

Wesley M. Gibson Jr., 40, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed April 4 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $562.25 fine and costs.

Brandon A. Norris, 26, of Butler pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed March 1 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $512.25 fine and costs.

Cynthia K. Lewis, 53, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and driving on roadways laned for traffic filed Jan. 16 by Butler Township police.

Karench Kovalchick, 64, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and a turning violation filed March 8 by Butler Township police.

Charles E. Young, 41, of Cheswick pleaded guilty to charges of retail theft and disorderly conduct filed March 8 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $711.50 fines, costs and restitution.

Crystal M. Williams, 34, of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed Jan. 31 by Butler County Community College police and was ordered to pay $466.25 fine and costs.

Jeremiah R. Mourer, 24, of Chicora pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed Feb. 5 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $466.25 fine and costs.

Zantae W. Weltner, 18, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed March 8 by Butler Township police and was ordered to pay $568.25 fine and costs.
