Police Reports

Monday — Luis G. Santiago-Mangual, 40, of Butler was charged with allegedly shoplifting $199 in merchandise at the Butler Commons’ Walmart around 9:50 p.m. May 28. He is charged with misdemeanor retail theft.

Monday — Tiffany M. Kroll, 33, of Renfrew was charged with allegedly ordering $122.36 worth of food June 9 at the MTO at the Sheetz store on New Castle Road and failing to pay for the items. She is charged with theft of services.

Monday — Police charged Christina R. Scott, 27, of Fenelton in connection with a series of shoplifting incidents at the Butler Commons’ Walmart between May 1 and June 20. The suspected stolen merchandise totaling $311.69. She is charged with one misdemeanor count and five summary counts of retail theft.

6:55 p.m. Saturday — No injuries were reported when the brakes apparently gave out on a vehicle driven by McKayla J. McGinnis, 21, of Butler, causing the vehicle to hit a tree along Pacific Street. Four passengers, three of them children, were in the vehicle, which had to be towed.

Police cited McGinnis for driving a vehicle without insurance.
