LYNDORA — The 15th annual Butler County Homebuyers Fair will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. April 27 at the Tanglewood Center.

The free fair is co-sponsored by the Butler County Homeownership Program, PNC Bank, the USDA Rural Development Service and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.

It will have exhibits by Realtors, banks, housing agencies, mortgage lenders, insurance agencies, housing inspectors, attorneys and other service providers.

There also will be continuous evening workshops on special topics such as first time homebuyer mortgage programs, working with Realtors, credit repair, housing construction, home inspections, refinancing and loan restructuring, and reverse mortgages.

Housing professionals will be available to answer questions about buying or refinancing a home. Free credit reports will be available.

JEFFERSON TWP — Good Samaritan Hospice with Concordia Lutheran Ministries and Heritage Valley Health System have formed a partnership.This includes Heritage Valley Health System's part ownership in Good Samaritan Hospice including the Good Samaritan House in Wexford, and the Good Samaritan Cabot Unit in Jefferson Township.“We're very excited to have Heritage Valley as a partner in our growth and service to those in need of hospice care,” said Anzie Kelley, executive director for Good Samaritan Hospice, in a news release.As part of the agreement, two new board members from Heritage Valley will serve on the Good Samaritan Hospice board: Norman F. GIBSONIA — Anne Nelson of Ross Township has been promoted to director of clinical and living assistance admissions for St. Barnabas Health System.She is responsible for overseeing the admissions of residents moving to St. Barnabas' two nursing homes and two living assistance facilities: The Arbors at St. Barnabas, Valencia Campus, and The Arbors at St. Barnabas, Gibsonia Campus.She has worked for St. Barnabas for six years.Nelson has a bachelor's degree in sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
