Mars was just fine at the line.
The Planets hit 25-of-28 from the free-throw line Tuesday on the way to a 59-42 win over Kittanning in boys basketball action.
Mitch Buzard scored 14 points, including an 8-for-8 effort at the charity stripe. Zach May also scored 14 for the Planets (14-6, 10-3).
Josh Goetz added 12 points and 17 rebounds for Mars.

SwimmingDespite reaching three WPIAL qualifying standards, the Freeport girls swimming team fell to Kiski Area 78-61.Becca Dudek swam a time of 2 minutes, 9.34 seconds in the 200 freestyle to qualify for the WPIAL championships.Freshman Bria Otwell also qualified in the 100 backstroke, coming in at 1:02.71 and the 400 freestyle relay team of Dudek, Otwell, Megan Sweeny and Riley Farneth also met the qualifying standard, finishing at 4:09.83.Freeport's Zachary Persijn, won the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:05.88.
