Butler County Cares in conjunction with The Art Center will host Open Hearts for Haiti, with proceeds benefiting relief efforts in the earthquake-ravaged country.

Butler County Cares is an initiative by Rotary Clubs of Butler County to collect at least $100,000 for Haitian relief.

The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 13 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

Music will include the band Elemental playing contemporary pop and classics.

Silent auction items and a 50/50 drawing will be available.

Admission is $10 per person. Tickets are available in advance at The Art Center or Balance for Wellness Physical Therapy Center, 505 Hansen Ave.

Those attending may take their own beer or wine; soft drinks and water will be available for a donation.

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale will present Arthur Honegger's "King David" on March 6 and 7."King David" explores the life and times of the biblical figure King David over the course of 27 movements.
