Two theater groups have scheduled auditions for upcoming musicals.

Sing Hosanna! will conduct auditions for the lead roles in its production of "The Wizard of Oz" on Sunday at the group's Stewart Hall, 310 W. Airport Road, Penn Township. Tryouts for children will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and for adults beginning at 4 p.m. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Monday.

"The Wizard of Oz" will be staged on March 26, 27 and 28 at the Succop Theater on the Butler Community College campus. For more information, call 724-285-3653.

Auditions for roles in the musical "Brigadoon" at the New Castle Playhouse will be conducted from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 24 and 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 in the playhouse's Augustine Auditorium, 212 E. Long Ave.

Those auditioning should be at least 16-years-old.

Show dates will be April 30 to May 16.
