Sentence Court

Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Adam Flick, 43, of Cabot, was sentenced to one year of probation and must pay $2,565 in restitution. Flick was charged on Dec. 16, 2019, and pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on Oct. 5.

Daniel R. Wehner, 56, of Monongahela, was sentenced to 90 days to one year in jail, a $1,500 fine, four years of probation and 100 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Wehner was immediately paroled with the first 105 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Wehner was charged on June 20, 2019, and pleaded guilty on Oct. 26. In a second case, Wehner was sentenced to pay $200 in fines for two counts of harassment. Wehner was charged on June 10. 2019, and pleaded guilty on Oct. 26.

Drake Kennedy, 27, of Butler, was sentenced to one year of probation and he must enroll and complete an anger management class for simple assault. He was charged Jan. 1 and pleaded guilty on Nov. 2.

Robert W. Budmark, 46, of Lyndora, was sentenced to two years of probation for terroristic threats, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence. Budmark was charged May 19 and pleaded guilty Oct. 5.

Kevin E. Vlassich, 45, of Butler, was sentenced to six months of probation and a $50 fine for defiant trespass. Vlassich was charged Aug. 2 and pleaded guilty Nov. 9.

Michael P. Alinskas, 43, of West Sunbury, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, 60 hours of community service and $1,000 fine for driving under the influence. Alinskas was charged Jan. 6 and pleaded guilty Nov. 13.

Eric J. Jarnigin, 36, of Mercer, was sentenced to six months of probation and a $300 fine for driving under the influence. Jarnigin must also participate in a litter pickup program. Jarnigin was charged March 25 and pleaded guilty Nov. 16.

Kina Kay Smith, 35, of Mars, was sentenced to one year of probation and a $75 fine for retail theft. Smith was charged June 27 and pleaded guilty Nov. 16.

Laura Aller, 37, of Hookstown, was sentenced to three to 23 and a half months in jail for retail theft. Aller must also pay restitution to Walmart. She was immediately paroled after receiving credit for time served. Aller was charged Sept. 11, 2018, and pleaded guilty Oct. 26.

John Frederick McPherson Jr., 31, of Worthington, was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 22 days on house arrest for driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit while having a suspended license. McPherson must also serve an additional 90 days on house arrest and pay $1,750 in fines. McPherson was charged June 7 and pleaded guilty Nov. 30.

Monica Velez, 35, of Sarver, was sentenced to six months of probation and a $1,000 fine for furnishing alcohol to minors. Velez was charged Feb. 5 and pleaded guilty Nov. 16.

Donovan D. Oesterling, 23, of Butler, was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 14 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring, $1,200 in fines for driving under the influence and driving while operating privileges were suspended. Oesterling just also pay more than $4,000 in restitution. Oesterling was charged Aug. 10 and pleaded guilty Sept. 28.

Chad E. Bojanac, 46, of Karns City was sentenced to three years of probation with the first six months on house arrest for theft. Bojanac must also pay $1,500 in restitution.
