1:36 a.m. Friday — Charles Hoffman, 35, of Slippery Rock was arrested for a PFA violation. Hoffman was observed with the plaintiff on McCalmont Road in violation of the PFA.2:51 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Dawn Double, 50, of Butler failed to stop for vehicles that were stopped for another crash in front of her.Double's car struck the back of a car driven by Judith Hankey, 74, of Butler.Amanda Double, 25, and two young children were passengers in Dawn Double's car.

1:45 a.m. Aug. 31 — A 26-year-old Mercer man was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop along Center Church Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.Police did not name the man, but said he showed signs of intoxication.Charges are pending results of a blood test.
