State Police, Butler Friday — Dawn Watson, unknown age, of Petrolia reported someone keyed the passenger side of her car parked at 131 Oneida Valley Road. The incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday night and 1 a.m. Friday morning. The estimated value of damage is $600.Oct. 21 — Someone stole about 20 pounds of copper from a home on Mahood Road in Concord Township.Oct. 21 — Paul Despetorich, 79, of Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, reported someone stole a chain saw from his vehicle parked along Route 8 in Mercer Township.The estimated value of the chain saw is $220.

State Police, New Castle12:05 a.m. Saturday — Megan J. Hoover, 19, of New Castle struck a deer while driving on Route 19 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The impact caused Hoover’s car to become disabled in the northbound lane.Thursday — Someone stole $1,200 worth of steel tubes, steel frames, and other steel pieces from CBF Contracting on Route 68 in Piney Township, Clarion County.The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 7 and Oct. 24.

State Police, Mercer8:57 a.m. Friday — Charles G. Crowell, 79, of Trafford struck a deer while driving on Route 208 in Pine Township, Mercer County.

Harrisville PoliceMonday — Lucas J. Coalton, unknown age and address, was charged with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.Police said charges stem from a traffic stop on May 21 when police found the marijuana and paraphernalia in Coalton’s car.10:30 a.m. Oct. 16 — Cory J. McFadden, unknown age and address, was charged with felony burglary after he allegedly stole several items for scrap from Hovis Plumbing and Heating on two occasions.The first burglary took place Aug. 3 and the second took place Sept. 17.

Zelienople PoliceOct. 20 — John T. McMillin, 19, of Zelienople was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment after police responded to a disturbance call at his 321 S. High St. home.
