Celebrating Moraine State Park's 50th: Overnight Options
For those celebrating Moraine State Park's 50th anniversary, there are plenty of options for overnight stays.
The park has cabins rentals, Adirondack shelters and group tenting areas.
Park Manager Dustin Drew said the cabins are the most popular choice with a lot of comfort features, but with an intentional lack of technological forms of entertainment.
“They book up well in advance,” Drew said. “You can actually make a reservation up to 11 months in advance, and some people take advantage of that.”
The park hosts about two-million visitors every year.
