2:16 a.m. Friday — No injuries were reported when a vehicle driven by Lance Jacobson-Barlow, 20, of Pittsburgh, crashed on Route 422. His vehicle had to be towed.Police said Jacobson-Barlow crossed into a closed lane in a construction zone on a bridge. While on the bridge, according to a police report, he mistakenly drove over a three-foot wide trench.7:41 p.m. Aug. 17 — A minivan driven by Milagore Ackerman, 64, of Cranberry Township, collided with a pickup on Route 8 at Litman Road. David Haines, 59, of Butler, was the other driver. No one was injured, but Ackerman's van had to be towed.

1 a.m. Saturday — Jeffery A. Wolfe, 27, was arrested after he allegedly threatened his wife with a crossbow during a domestic dispute at their home on Maple Manor Extension in Brady Township.The victim told police that during an argument, Wolfe pulled out the crossbow and threatened to shoot her in the chest with it, according to court documents. When she tried to stop him from pulling back the string, she recounted, she got her left wrist trapped in the crossbow.Police said she suffered a red and swollen wrist.During the incident, the defendant also allegedly shoved the victim.District Judge Sue Haggerty arraigned Wolfe on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $30,000 bail following arraignment.
