4:35 p.m. Wednesday — An unknown person driving a white and gray tractor-trailer struck a utility pole at the intersection of Main and Jefferson streets.7:46 p.m. Sunday — A Butler Township dump truck driven by Kenneth Lesnik, 54, of Butler struck two parked vehicles on Orchard Avenue. The impacts caused significant damage to both parked vehicles, owned by Kenneth Eichenlaub and Stella Frenchak, both of Butler. The truck was hauling about six tons of anti-skid material.

7 a.m. Jan. 30 — A car driven by Amanda Prokop, 21, of Butler struck an embankment and utility pole, and rolled onto its roof on Riemer Road in Winfield Township. Prokop, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.2 a.m. Jan. 29 — Dale Christy, no age given, of Kittanning was arrested for driving under the influence on East Butler Road in Summit Township.12:50 a.m. Jan. 29 — Jordan Heffner, 24, of Kittanning was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street in Butler.Tuesday — David Zanicky reported the theft of an ATV, a 1997 Yamaha YFZ350, from his barn at 358 Moran Road in Clearfield Township at a known time. Anyone with information about the theft should call state police at 724-284-8100.3:45 a.m. Jan. 31 — Roger Lee Reynolds, age unavailable, was charged with possession of marijuana after police responded to a call about a disabled vehicle on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.

Wednesday — Deborah Lynn Scolastico, 43, of Jackson Center was charged with public drunkenness after allegedly appearing intoxicated at her hearing for an unnamed charge before the district judge in Worth Township.1 p.m. Tuesday — Jose Antonio Alvarado Huerta, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Route 80 in Wolf Creek Township. He was placed in Lawrence County Prison on a detainer from U.S. immigration officials.

Saturday — It was reported that two packs of cigarettes, an A/C adapter and some change were taken from a vehicle parked at 603 Tidball Ave. sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.9:25 a.m. Feb. 2 — A vehicle operated by Virginia Cicero, 87, of 1502 Lee Lane struck a vehicle driven by Ronald Bartley, 47, of 11 Magnolia Lane at the intersection of George Junior Road and Lee Lane. Cicero had stopped her vehicle at a stop sign and then continued into the intersection, where her vehicle hit Bartley's vehicle. No injuries were reported. Cicero was cited for a stop sign violation, and Bartley was cited for insurance violations.Feb. 1 — A 1993 Plymouth Acclaim driven by Tonya Diefenderfer, 35, of Fredonia crossed into the oncoming eastbound lane on West Main Street, hitting a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Breanna Cogley, 31, of Slippery Rock. Diefenderfer was taken to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment of an illness that had contributed to the accident.Dec. 22 — It was reported a male juvenile was riding his bike near Bessemer Avenue when he was approached by two white males in a dark-colored car. The men offered the boy candy if he would get into their car. The juvenile reported the car looked like a Honda Accord.

Friday — Justin Mark Kramer, 21, of Warren was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped by police for one-way and speeding violations.
