June 24 — David D. Schrey, 53, of Evans City, was charged with a first-offense DUI after a woman flagged down an officer June 20 to report a drunk man who had been following her in his vehicle.Police said field sobriety tests showed Schrey was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content was .134%. In Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.

July 6 — Charles J. Rogan, 41, of Portersville, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI, following a May 21 one-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Portersville Road and Perry Highway in Portersville.Police said field sobriety tests showed Rogan was impaired, and a later blood test showed he had marijuana, methadone and gabapentin in his system.July 3 — Dyshawn E. Murray, 35, of Newville, was charged with felony reckless endangerment, stemming from a July 3 incident at the Butler County Fair.Police said Murray was working at the fair, when he allegedly urinated in public and was confronted by staff. Police said Murray got in his vehicle and drove dangerously out of the fairgrounds.Police said witnesses saw Murray almost strike multiple visitors while leaving at a high rate of speed.July 2 — Two people have been charged for drugs found during a July 2 traffic stop on McKean Street in Butler.Police said they stopped the vehicle for driving the wrong way on the one-way portion of McKean Street. Police said the driver was Michael J. Garth, 20, of Summit Township, and the passenger was Ciarra K. Hall II, 22, of Butler.Police said they believed Garth was driving while high on marijuana, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said they then found about three ounces of marijuana in a bookbag, as well as 500 mg of THC edibles.Both were charged with felony possession with intent to sell, and Garth was additionally charged with a DUI and other traffic offenses.June 25 — Donnelle Shaw, 32, of Detroit, was arrested on a felony trespass charge, stemming from a June 19 incident on Eau Claire Road in Mercer Township.Police said Shaw had broken into a duplex that was under construction, and he left behind wet clothes, toiletries and a backpack. Police said inside the backpack was medical paperwork in Shaw's name.Police said they believe Shaw had been hiding in the woods.
