9:22 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Jason Kostelansky, 41, of Butler and an SUV driven by Thomas Kamerer, 67, of Butler collided at the intersection of North McKean and East North streets. Kostelansky was cited for a stop sign violation.9:21 p.m. March 5 — A pickup driven by Gary R. Fowler, 34, of Butler hit the rear of a pickup driven by Danny Turner, 61, of Butler while it was stopped at a red light on West New Castle Street. Turner's passenger, Heidi Fetterman, 50, of Butler received suspected minor injuries. She was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.Fowler was charged with driving under the influence — highest rate of alcohol, driving under the influence — incapable of safe driving and having an expired vehicle registration. Police report the lower of two readings for blood alcohol content was 0.179 percent.A blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher is considered driving under the influence in Pennsylvania.12:55 a.m. March 4 — A car driven by Samuel Whalen, 19, of Saxonburg struck the rear of a car driven by Patricia Kriley, 83, that was stopped in traffic on New Castle Road, Whalen was cited for careless driving.8:40 a.m. March 3 — An SUV driven by Lindsey Snow, 32, of Chicora slid off an icy East Jefferson Street, hit an embankment and rolled over after trying to avoid a previous accident where another vehicle hit a parked vehicle.12:51 a.m. Feb. 23 — An SUV driven by Randall E. Anderson, 61, of Butler struck a utility pole on Hansen Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Police report finding nine stamp bags of heroin in his pants watch pocket, and a white straw with white powder inside stored in the visor. His blood was tested at Butler Memorial hospital. Police received the toxicology report, which indicated morphine and monoacetylmorphine in his system, Wednesday.6:53 p.m. Feb. 23 — A vehicle driven by Alan Kean, 26, of Butler hit Joseph Oswalt, 24, who has no known address, while he was walking across West Penn Street. Oswalt hit his head off the hood and fell to the ground.According to witnesses Oswalt and another person entered the crosswalk after the pedestrian sign changed to the do not walk message. Oswalt was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of a right leg injury. There was no visible damage to the car.<h3>Butler Twp Police</h3>Sunday — A vehicle driven by Kimberly Wheeler, 36, of Connoquenessing and a vehicle driven by Cory Milligan, 30, of Butler collided on Evans City Road at the Point Plaza Shopping Center. Wheeler and Milligan's passenger, Dana Milligan, received minor injuries. Dana Milligan was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. Police are investigating the cause.11:22 p.m. March 6 — Holly Wilson, 43, of West Sunbury was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after Penn Township police reported finding a semi-conscious woman in a vehicle in the Sheetz parking lot on Route 8.According to police, Wilson had just injected a controlled substance. She refused any medical treatment. Police reported finding two needles and three stamp bags with her.<h3>State Police, Mercer</h3>March 3 — Two white males stole $3,500 worth of clothing from the Calvin Klein Outlet store at the Grove City Outlets on Leesburg-Grove City Road.
