my precious little son, Joshua Michael Davis,

who passed away 42 years ago today, March 26th.

They say there is a reason

They say that time will heal

But neither time nor reason

Has changed the way I feel

For no one knows the heartache

That lives behind my smile

No one knows how many times

I’ve broken down and cried

I want to tell you something

So there won’t be any doubt

Mommy holds you in her heart and my love will always keep you close

But it is so very hard to live without

I love you with all my heart and we will be together again

And this time we will never be apart.
