Richard and Dorothy Schontz

Richard and Dorothy Schontz of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at Natili's.

Schontz married the former Dorothy Wallak on Feb. 17, 1951, at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.

They have two children, Richard J. Schontz Jr. of Butler and Cathy Pastorius of East Butler.

They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Schontz is retired from Armco and served as Butler City Mayor.

Mrs. Schontz is a homemaker.

The Schontzes belong to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.
