Robert Ricker and Shawna Nixon

A Sept. 25 wedding is being planned by Shawna Nixon and Robert Ricker, both of New Albany, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steven and Rose Grossi of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Rick and Rhonda Ricker.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She also received her pharmacy degree in 2007 from the university.

Her fiance graduated in 2002 from Westerville North High School. He currently attends Columbus State Community College, where he is a full-time nursing student.
