During a special virtual meeting Thursday night, the board approved several items:

- A services agreement with Southwood Psychiatric Hospital

- Establishing a Future Business Leaders of America National Honors Society as a student activity

- A memorandum of understanding with the Mars Area Education Association for distance and livestream learning

- Karen Yost's retirement

- Maria Rios, Amanda Morello and Amy Van Iddekinge as mentor teachers, with $600 stipends

- Sheri Acre as a part-time custodian

- Sandra Martinex and Charles Gearhart as bus drivers for A.J. Myers & Sons

- The resignations of Brian Hobaugh (assistant varsity football coach), Mark Murphy (middle school football coach), Erin Donahue (SADD/REACH club sponsor), and Gail Quigley (SADD/REACH sponsor)

- The resignations of paraprofessionals Taylor Birckbichler, Gloria Ferguson, Alicia Strong and Gabrielle Olson

- Janeace Libby, Jakquiline Conchilla, Mary Franz, Jordan Klingeman and Rita Verona as paraprofessionals, with salaries and benefits totaling $28,655 each

- Luigi Lista-Brinza as a day-to-day paraprofessional

- Erin Hein as a long-term substitute, with salary and benefits totaling $51,916

- Griffin Clagett as a low voltage technician, with salary and benefits totaling $46,182

- Dave Mayer and Mike Hill as assistant varsity football coaches, with $5,206 and $4,509 stipends, respectively

- Brian Hobaugh and Ethan Myler as activity volunteers

- Brian Staines as an assistant middle school coach, with a $2,849 stipend

- Robyn Davies as a SADD/REACH club sponsor, with a $999 stipend

- Peter Black as a water protection coordinator, with a $999 stipend

- Erika Pentland as a district secretary, with salary and benefits totaling $37,013

- Leave for Concetta Richards, Nicole Driscoll and Tylor Takacs.
