James Hoffman and Janelle Hartzell

A June 19 wedding is being planned by Janelle Hartzell of Slippery Rock and James Hoffman of New Ringgold, Pa.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of George and Kathleen Hartzell of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Rickey and Charlene Hoffman of New Ringgold.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She will graduate in May from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in animal sciences. She will attend veterinary school at Penn State.

Her fiance graduated in 2004 from Blue Mountain High School and in 2008 from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in animal sciences and a minor in agribusiness management. He is employed by Hartzell Farm in Slippery Rock.
