Katie Dickey and James Shuty

A June wedding is planned by Katie Dickey and James Shuty, both of Slippery Rock.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dickey of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James Shuty of Franktown, Va., and the late Eleanor Tilp Shuty.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Slippery Rock University. She received her teaching certification from Carlow University. She is employed as an art teacher by the Slippery Rock School District.

Her fiance graduated from Slippery Rock High School and Youngstown State University. He is employed as a land surveyor by Northern Surveyors in Slippery Rock.
