Jade's Dog Park in Alameda Park announced it will be closed until July 23 for cleaning.

According to a Facebook post, the closure comes after Butler County Parks and Recreation got word of a case of kennel cough Wednesday.

A staff member with parks and recreation said the staff closes the dog park for cleaning when a case like this is reported.

The staff member also said maintenance will be working on the park while it is closed, and planting grass to fill in the field.

The park is normally open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.
