PITTSBURGH — A Butler man was listed in critical condition this afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital after his pickup hit a tree along Meridian Road Tuesday.

George Henry Diamond, 60, sustained apparent head, face and neck injuries when the wreck happened at 8:48 p.m.

Authorities have not yet established a cause for the accident.

Diamond was initially taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, but was later transferred to the Pittsburgh hospital.
