These items were collected from various police departments:

Sept. 17 — Loren M. Lawrence, 31, of Butler, was charged with felony drug sales, related to a Sept. 17 report of a retail theft at Walmart in Butler Commons in Butler Township.Lawrence was also charged with multiple misdemeanors, including three counts of drug possession, one count of paraphernalia possession and one count of stolen property.Police said Lawrence matched the description of the initial report, and he was carrying a Walmart bag full of candy, as well as other shopping bags. Police said they arrested Lawrence for the retail theft, and, at that time, they searched him.Police said they found about 19.7 grams of suspected crystal meth, one clonazepam pill, a small bottle of testosterone pills and a small scale. Police said they also found about $4,584 cash in mostly $20 bills.Sept. 16 — Two men were charged following an Aug. 16 report of an attempted robbery at the Days Inn involving Stephen A. Winstead, 22, of Springdale, and a guest, Shane P. Miller, 31, of Sarver.Police said the initial report said Winstead robbed Miller by pointing a laser at him. Police said when they arrived Winstead informed police of a 9 mm pistol with a laser attachment in the glove box of his girlfriend's car.Winstead was charged with felony unlicensed carrying of a gun and misdemeanor terroristic threats.Police said Winstead and his girlfriend told officers they were trying to buy drugs from Miller. Police said Winstead claimed Miller pointed a gun at him first, so he retaliated.Police said they did not find a gun when they searched Miller's room, but they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia, for which he was charged. Police also allegedly found numerous prescription medications all in their proper containers and in Miller's name.Sept. 16 — Tracy E. Tucci, 57, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to a July 9 hit-and-run crash at the intersection of New Castle Road and Campus Lane in Butler Township.Police said Tucci was in the vehicle still at the scene, and she appeared injured and was behaving erratically. Police said Tucci appeared confused while at the scene and when questioned later at the hospital.Police said a later blood test showed clonazepam and codeine in her blood.

Sept. 16 — Erica C. Allen, 27, of Petrolia, was charged with a first-offense DUI, child endangerment and drug and paraphernalia possession, stemming from a Sept. 15 report of a missing child.The child's father said his girlfriend, Allen, went to pick up the child from school around 3 p.m. and had not been heard from since.Police said they located Allen on the 900 block of Bullcreek Road in Butler Township, and she was passed out in the driver's seat with the child in the back seat.Police said a drug recognition evaluation showed Allen was impaired, and there was a glass pipe and loose gabapentin pills in plain view.
