[naviga:h3]BHS Class of ’70 reunion postponed[/naviga:h3]

The 50th class reunion planned by the Butler High School Class of 1970 and scheduled for the weekend of Aug. 28 has been postponed until next year.

Because of safety concerns and restrictions resulting from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event has been tentatively rescheduled for the weekend of Aug. 28, 2021, at the Butler Country Club. Plans also call for a Neighborhood Night and golf outing during the weekend. More information will be available in the future.

[naviga:h3]A-C Valley sets student registration[/naviga:h3]

New student registration for Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District will be held Aug. 5 and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Call the high school at 724-659-4661, Ext. 3105, to schedule an appointment.

To register, you will need to have the student’s immunization records, birth certificate and proof of residence in the district. Proof of residence can be in the form of a driver’s license, utility bill or formal lease.
