9:23 p.m. Thursday — Harry Gilbert III, 47, was charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute with his wife, Jackie Gilbert, 36, at the couple's Negley Avenue home.2:26 a.m. Thursday — Todd Lemmon, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a police officer saw his car hit another vehicle parked on North Elm Street.3:30 p.m. Wednesday — John Addison, 32, no known address, is accused of threatening an ex-girlfriend with a knife during a domestic dispute at the woman's Fifth Avenue home.Candace Cozin, 38, told police that Addison became angry after she told him he was no longer welcome at her home. He allegedly pulled out a folding knife with a 4-inch blade and threatened to kill her.Cozin, who was not injured, said she was able to get away from Addison and run to a nearby home for help. Police searched the area but could not find the suspect.About 25 minutes later, however, an officer spotted Addison back at Cozin's home, attempting to get inside. He was arrested and found with two large folding knives in his pants pocket.District Judge Pete Shaffer arraigned Addison on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.The defendant, who told authorities he is homeless and originally from Chester County, was placed in Butler County Prison on $7,500 bond.

Thursday — Police reported they are seeking Ronald Lee Doctor, 43, of Butler in connection with this week's theft of cartons of cigarettes at Three B's Tobacco, Point Plaza.Doctor is accused of taking an acquaintance's vehicle after the theft, which occurred about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, and driving off. The suspect is charged with retail theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving without a license.Anyone with information about Doctor's whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

3:40 a.m. Thursday — Jessca Book, 25, of Harmony was arrested for allegedly assaulting Angela Book, 26, and Dawn Book, 25, both of Harmony, during a domestic dispute at a Route 19 home in Muddy Creek Township. Jessica Book was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in Butler County Prison on $2,500 bond.2 p.m. Saturday — Carl Beck Jr., 26, of Butler is accused of endangering four other motorists during a two-vehicle confrontation on Route 68 in Oakland Township.Police said Beck first used his vehicle to block the alleged victims — Julia Fitzpatrick, 23, and Jessica Fitzpatrick, 21, both of Chicora, and two unidentified juveniles — in a driveway. The suspect later passed the victims' vehicle and suddenly applied his brakes, in turn causing the victims to abruptly stop.No one was injured. Beck is charged with reckless endangerment, harassment, careless driving and parking on the road.

1:08 a.m. Saturday — Sean Pacek, 33, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Yellow Dog and Mark roads in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

2:32 a.m. March 10 — Paul A. Jestead, 24, of Camp Run Road, Harmony, was charged with possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia after police discovered the items following a traffic stop.4:39 a.m. March 7 — Barbara McMonagle, 25, of 116 Juniper Road, Fenelton, was driving on Lindsay Road when she lost control on a snow-covered road and slid into the path of a vehicle driven by William Mayhew, 53, of 1104 Evans City Road, Renfrew. No injuries were reported. McMonagle was cited by police for failing to drive at safe speeds.10:14 a.m. March 4 — William Metz, 78, of 124 Old Little Creek Road, Harmony, was attempting to make a left turn into Northgate Plaza from Route 19, when police said he pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Ronald Moyer, 69, of 742 Spring St., Harmony. Moyer was not injured, but Metz suffered a cut to the head. He was cited by police.7:14 p.m. Feb. 26 — Police were called to a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Little Creek Road and Mercer Road. A vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Daniel J. Monpere, 38, of Perry Way, Harmony, and then left. That vehicle was founded later at a Lancaster Township salvage business. Police have charged Sylvester Leo Beerman, 19, of Pittsburgh, with failure to stop and give information and/or render aid, accidents involving damage to attended property, failing to obey duties at a stop sign and not wearing a seat belt.1:56 a.m. Feb. 25 — Ronald Tombari III, 18, of Pittsburgh was charged with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and not using low beams following a traffic stop on Route 68 near the intersection with Hartmann Road.11:48 p.m. Feb. 22 — Police were called to Little Creek Road for a report of a vehicle into a house. When police arrived, the vehicle was attempting to leave the scene. Police stopped the vehicle a short time later. The vehicle had glanced off the foundation of the house and caused other minor property damage. Lee Edward Engles, 46, of 101 Hillside Dr., Harmony, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop and give information and/or render aid and accidents involving damages to attended vehicle/property.2:31 a.m. Feb. 21 — Eugene Joseph Paslawski, 38, of 105 Creekwood Dr., Zelienople, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Lindsay Road.8:29 a.m. Feb. 20 — Nathan Hinderliter, 24, of 1546 Grant St. Ext., Butler, was charged with operating a vehicle without a proper inspection, operating a vehicle with proper registration, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana when police had a traffic stop on Lindsay Road.
