9:02 p.m. Saturday — Two people were injured when a vehicle driven by Patrick King, 42, of Butler rear-ended another vehicle on New Castle Road at Hindman Road. Ejacquelyn Morgan, 54, of Butler was the other driver. Both drivers suffered minor injuries.6:03 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Randall Beltrami, 57, of Butler struck the back of another vehicle on Route 8 north. Gabriela Palombo, 21, of Butler was the other. No one was injured, but Palombo's vehicle had to be towed.1:11 a.m. Saturday — Brent A. Smith, 30, of Butler crashed the vehicle he was driving into a rock wall along Brown Avenue near Morton Avenue. Neither Smith nor his passenger were injured. Police cited him for careless driving and texting while driving.

12:19 p.m. Saturday — An unknown suspect drove away after the vehicle he was driving struck a gas meter on the property of a home on the 900 block of Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township. The car left tire tracks on the lawn before the driver backed out of the yard and fled north.The car was described as a light blue or aluminum blue sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.8:21 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Carlos G. Planas, 20, of Saxonburg struck a tree along Glenwood Way just south of Lakeshore Drive in Center Township. He and a passenger were not injured. Police cited Planas for driving too fast for conditions.5:07 a.m. Thursday — Hunter B. Sevin, 20, of Portersville lost control of his car on Interstate 79 south on Lancaster Township, striking a mile marker, breaking it in half and hitting an embankment. He was not injured.9 a.m. Nov. 24 — Joseph G. Green, 57, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old Butler woman during a domestic dispute at a home on Dalmagro Road in Clearfield Township. The victim suffered unspecified injuries in the incident.Green was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond following arraignment.5:28 p.m. Nov. 19 — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in northern Butler County. The crash occurred when a pickup driven by Donna J. Siegfried, 71, of Grove City struck the rear of a car on Route 58 just west of Harmony Road in Mercer Township. Moments before the wreck, according to a police report, the other driver, William R. Holman Jr., 31, of Annapolis, Md., had stopped when a deer entered the road in front of his car. He was not injured.Siegfried and her passenger, Robert G. Siegfried, 74, of Grove City, were both taken to Grove City Medical Center with unknown injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Siegfried for following too closely to another vehicle.9 a.m. Nov. 19 — Randi D. Prop, 30, of Harmony was injured when she lost control of her car and struck two pine trees along Upper Harmony Road just west of Prospect Road in Connoquenessing Township. The car became airborne, according to a police report, after hitting an embankment and overturned.Prop suffered an apparent minor injury. Police cited her for driving too fast for conditions, disregarding traffic lanes and failing to stop and give information after an accident.11:18 a.m. Nov. 18 — A pickup driven by Matthew T. Sutton, 49, of Forestville, rear-ended another pickup on Route 8 at Clearview Mall in Center Township. Sutton fled the scene and then later called police to report the crash. Neither he nor the other driver, Anthony P. Cocco, 64, of Apollo, Armstrong County, was injured.Police cited Sutton for following too closely to another vehicle and failing to stop and give information and render aid after an accident.6:10 p.m. Nov. 17 — Ashton V. Rider, 20, of Harrisville lost control of her sport utility vehicle due to slippery conditions on Lions Road just south of South Benbrook Road in Center Township and crossed into the opposing lane, striking another car head-on.Neither Rider nor the other driver, Cynthia L. Horstman, 54, of West Sunbury, was injured. Horstman's car had to be towed.

6:03 p.m. Nov. 23 — A deer on the road was blamed for an accident that injured a motorist in South Buffalo Township. Brandon M. Boarts, 28, of Ford City, suffered an apparent minor injury when his car struck the deer on Route 28 south just north of the Buffalo bridge.3:11 p.m. Nov. 19 — No one was injured when a school bus driven by Suvan K. Hiner, 59, of East Brady sideswiped a car on Boltz Road about one-quarter mile west of Route 268 in East Franklin Township. Helen L. Branan, 85, of Cowansville, was the other driver.There was only one passenger, a 14-year-old Cowansville girl, on the bus. Branan's car had to be towed. Police cited Hiner for driving on the wrong side of the road.3:46 p.m. Nov. 17 — No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash in South Buffalo Township. The wreck occurred when a sport utility vehicle driven by Topanga A. Christie, 22, of Kittanning, slid on snow and slush on Route 28 north about two miles north of Exit 17, and traveled into the opposing lane, colliding with a commercial vehicle driven by Larry A. Keefer, 48, of Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County.7:03 p.m. Nov. 15 — Robert W. Stringer, 24, of Sandy Lake lost control of his car after the front driver's side tire came off and the vehicle traveled off the road and into a ditch on Route 422 just east of Mushroom Farm Road in West Franklin Township. Police noted that just before the accident the tire became flat and was shredded before dislodging. Stringer was not injured.
