April 1 — Bradin A. Bender, 22, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors of simple assault and disorderly conduct because he allegedly hit a woman.Police were dispatched to Queens Junction Road around 11:41 p.m. March 31 for a report of a domestic dispute.Police said while on scene, they noticed Bender had a swollen and bloody nose and the woman had a bruise on the right side of her face and a swollen and bloody lip.Police said a witness heard the woman screaming for Bender to stop hitting her and to get off of her.5 p.m. March 31 — Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Cranberry Township.According to police, Jocilyn, M. Csernyik, 27, of Pulaski, stopped for oncoming traffic at a yield sign on the ramp to enter the Turnpike, when Carol L. Copeland, 55, of Beaver Falls, Pa., struck the rear-end of her vehicle.No injuries were reported.

3:21 a.m. March 27 — Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 68 in Monroe Township, Clarion County.Police said they cited Amanda J. Toth, 33, of Bruin, for leaving the roadway in her 2014 Ford Mustang, and hitting a utility pole. She was not injured.

6:57 p.m. March 13 — Police responded to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on Route 28 in Wayne Township.Police said Sarah J. Meade, 23, of Freeport, was charged with careless driving after her vehicle left the road, struck an embankment and rolled over onto its roof.Meade and a passenger then left the scene of the crash before police arrived, but police later confirmed neither was injured from the accident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
